I wanted to try chocolate covered cranberries, so I did some experimenting for Thanksgiving. I started by  soaking  fresh cranberries in Amaretto overnight, I thought the flavours would work well together.  Next step is to stain the berries and poke each one with a toothpick. Yes this can be tedious. Melt chocolate over hot water, I used both dark chocolate and white chocolate. Dip the berries in the chocolate and place on wax paper to set.   I put some in the freezer for about half an hour. The result was amazing.  I loved the crunch. These were a hit after turkey dinner.  I might make some for our Christmas party. Sandy
