Growing up, May has always been interested in sports and physical activities as a social outlet. His activities of choice were swimming, soccer, and Tae-Kwon-Do. As he gained skills, he got more and more interested in the technical side of it - the movements, the physiology of human. I'm the technical-type.
May started on his path of fitness instruction while completing his
university degree. BCRPA was offering its Fitness Theory and Strength Training courses to students and had an instructor who not only quenched his thirst for knowledge but also inspired him to share it with others. Since then, May has completed BCRPA's Personal Training, CrossFit Mobility and CrossFit Level 1 certification.
